Media Release: Porchlight campaign begins in Rocky Mountain House

Volunteers with Project Porchlight, a national energy conservation campaign, will be in Rocky Mountain House. Project Porchlight volunteers will deliver more than 2,000 free, energy-efficient light bulbs to residents of Rocky Mountain House as part of a 500,000-bulb Alberta-wide campaign.

What

Project Porchlight is a community campaign to give people the tools to be more energy-efficient and see how simple actions matter when it comes to smart energy choices. Project Porchlight volunteers will be on hand to explain the program, hand out free compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs and demonstrate the benefits of installing them.

Project Porchlight volunteers, residents of Rocky Mountain House, attendees at the Trade Fair.

When

  • Friday, May 2nd, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Saturday, May 3rd, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
  • Sunday, May 4th, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
