It's a small (hockey) world

If anyone ever tries to tell you that there is anything more important than hockey in small-town-northern-Ontario, they may not know much about northern Ontario. (Okay, maybe they do know some stuff. Like maybe they're hunters or ice fishermen or something.)

We were in Atikokan recently and while the OUTERS students were handing out bulbs, the Porchlight staff walked around downtown, talking with locals, taking photos, and spreading the light.

And we ran into a few people who politely declined a free bulb from us because they had already received their one bulb from a hockey game in Fort Frances!

How's that for honesty? And small-worldness?!

This is just a random "thanks once again" message to Fort Frances. To the Junior Sabres, to the Fort Frances Power Corp, to the magnificent staff at the Arena, to Dominoes pizza, and to the hundreds of keen bulb-cheerleaders who supported us during the door-to-door delivery and hockey game bonanza.

Thanks guys!
