Volunteers with Project Porchlight, a national energy conservation campaign, will be in Drayton Valley. Project Porchlight volunteers will deliver more than 2,000 free, energy-efficient light bulbs to residents of Drayton Valley as part of a 500,000-bulb Alberta-wide campaign.
What
Project Porchlight is a community campaign to give people the tools to be more energy-efficient and see how simple actions matter when it comes to smart energy choices. Project Porchlight volunteers will be on hand to explain the program, hand out free compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs, and demonstrate the benefits of installing them.
