BC Hydro PowerSmart, a division of BC Hydro, is making it fun and easy for residents of British Columbia to become more power conscious. In an effort to make BC energy self-reliant by 2016, BC Hydro has launched Team Power Smart which is a call to action for all British Columbians to join together and reduce their energy consumption.
VERMONT
Burlington Electric Department 
Burlington Electric Department works closely with Efficiency Vermont and implements the same energy efficiency programs within Burlington. Ever since the voters of Burlington passed an Energy Efficiency Bond in 1990, BED has viewed efficiency as one way of meeting the energy needs of Burlington ratepayers. Because of these programs, Burlington is now using about the same amount of electricity as it did in 1989, the year before the bond was approved.
Efficiency Vermont was created by the Vermont Legislature and the Vermont Public Service Board to help all Vermonters reduce energy costs, strengthen the economy, and protect Vermont's environment. Efficiency Vermont is currently operated by the Vermont Energy Investment Corporation (VEIC), under contract to the Vermont Public Service Board. VEIC is a Vermont nonprofit organization founded in 1986.
ALBERTA
City of Medicine Hat 
Located in southeastern Alberta, Canada's Sunniest City is a thriving municipality of 56,997 residents. The City of Medicine Hat municipal government is a steward and a leader of responsible environmental and sustainable energy decisions and actions.
ONTARIO
EnWin Utilities Ltd. is Windsor's local distribution company, responsible for the distribution of electricity and the servicing and maintenance of Windsor's power line infrastructure. EnWin Utilities Ltd. is also a management services company, providing fleet, billing, collections, credit, financial, human resources, and customer service as well as information technology services to the Windsor Utilities Commission and the City of Windsor.
Hydro Ottawa Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hydro Ottawa Holding Inc. is the second largest municipal electricity distribution company in the province. Hydro Ottawa is responsible for the safe, reliable delivery of electricity to more than 278,000 residential and business customers in the city of Ottawa and the village of Casselman. Hydro Ottawa is proud to be a founding member of powerWISE - a conservation initiative among six of Ontario's largest electricity distribution companies - to promote energy conservation to consumers and reduce the demand for electricity.

The Ministry of the Environment is responsible for protecting clean and safe air, land and water to ensure healthy communities, ecological protection and sustainable development for present and future generations of Ontarians.
The Ontario Power Authority contributes to the development of a reliable and sustainable electricity system. They encourage and facilitate conservation and adequate electricity supply from diverse resources. The OPA engages with stakeholders, including government, public, media, customers, associations, generators and investors.
Thunder Bay Hydro is responsible for the power line system within the city limits of Thunder Bay and for delivering electricity to homes and businesses. Thunder Bay Hydro distributes electricity to over 49,000 customers via a network of over 1,300 kilometers (815 miles) of overhead and underground power lines.

The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF), one of Canada's leading grant-making foundations, is an agency of the Ministry of Culture.
