With Project Porchlight Saskatchewan only weeks away, we here at the PP Blog Department are looking to highlight some of the forward-thinking initiatives already making waves in the Roughrider Province. One exceptional example is the Craik Sustainable Living Project.

Project Porchlight is coming to Saskatchewan and we need you! If you can spare just an hour or two of your time you can become a Project Porchlight volunteer and help us distribute free compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs to people in your community.

The glow of Project Porchlight is spreading through North Eastern BC. With the bulk of our CFL bulbs due to arrive in the province next month, the Project Porchlight team is busy hiring local support staff and making contacts with the community.

Project Porchlight New Jersey is just around the corner; as such, we'd like to highlight some of the great energy conservation organizations, resources and initiatives already active in the State, making a difference today.

We are pleased to announce that Phase II of our Alberta campaign will be starting this autumn. As such, we've got a slew of new jobs available. We are looking for passionate and dynamic individuals to fill the following roles:
• Campaign Organizers
• Communications Coordinator
• Administrative Assistant
• Volunteer and Outreach Coordinators
• Regional Managers

Project Porchlight is looking for yet more motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Saskatchewan campaign.
The 210,000 bulb campaign is scheduled to begin this Fall. We are still looking for additional field representatives to help us make Project Porchlight Saskatchewan a success.

At the heart of One Change and our campaigns, is the philosophy that simple actions matter. When it comes to complex systems like the oil and automotive industries, it's much harder to define what those simple, positive actions could be. In a riveting and eye-opening talk, renowned resource analyst Amory Lovins lays out a simple plan for weaning the US off oil and revitalizing the economy.

Here at One Change, our concerns go way beyond the Bulb. We're constantly looking at simple solutions to empower individuals and communities to take the first step towards energy conservation, and ultimately making positive lifestyle changes that will collectively benefit the entire planet.

We're off to a great start in Saskatchewan, as Project Porchlight and SaskPower Eneraction were featured this week on the front page of the Regina Leader Post business section. It also features some great quotes and photos of our partners Rebecca Fiissel and Garry Tollefson at SaskPower.

We are thrilled to announce that Project Porchlight has teamed up with SaskPower Eneraction to distribute free energy efficient compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs across the province of Saskatchewan.
With regional hubs in Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert, Porchlight volunteers will be helping Saskatchewanians take one simple step towards energy conservation.
